Through the years our skill development brand, 'MERITRAIN', moved from VHS to CBT’s (computer based trainers). This gave students an interactive simulated environment where they could practice and learn. It also allowed students to learn wherever they wanted, at home or at work. The inclusion of competency tests also helped automatically track who did the course and how well they did.
MERITRAIN created training systems in MAGIC, Client Server, and 6.x. The trainers were created for individual modules, NPR report writer, orientation, and full-blown hospital wide implementations. Since 1997 these trainers have been created for hundreds of hospitals from small 25 bed hospitals to large multi-site organizations.
